Summer Sky #1

Can you imagine the month where summer really hits and the heat sets in as the sky gets a little hazy? Now imagine the Wyoming landscape as the other plants are fading, but the brightest thing you see is the Rubber Rabbitbrush in bloom. To distill such a complex plant down to mere shapes for a print is a complex feat, but as it becomes more abstracted it allows the mind to play and the colors to become the story.
