Viva Terlingua #5

"Viva Terlingua" is a four color reduction print that was inspired after tent camping for a week in Terlingua, Texas during the annual chili festival. Using two blocks in the process, I chose to isolate the yucca plant when creating the composition as it was one of the few desert plants I witnessed growing taller than a few feet. The words “viva Terlingua” were everywhere, and if I imagined the town as a sign, it would be the weathered wooden sign that was still full of character.
