Camping in the desert for a week can be trying at times; when the wind picks up around dinner time, for sure.
But the plants there are accustom to such weather, and the Yucca is the most statuesque of all. You couldn't miss these massive plants when looking out across the sparse ground. I marveled at their ability to grow in such hostile environments.
